Facilitators & Hive Owners
What if education happened in the neighbourhood?
Not in a building with a curriculum and a bell. In a home, a studio, a communal space, a local business. The location is yours to choose.
And what if children learned without being taught, from someone who has done it, who understands how people learn and develop, and who is trusted by the families around them.
A Wisdom Hive is a small, local hub where the 7 Seeds of Success® framework is lived, not just taught.
The facilitators who run them aren't teachers in the traditional sense. They're guides, trained to observe what a child needs, and to create conditions for it to develop.
A teacher in a documentary I once watched had been in classrooms for decades when her school changed to a more fluid way of working. She said: when they first told me to do things differently, my first thought was, I don't even know what these children are learning now. Then I realised I didn't know what they were learning before either. I knew what I was teaching. I didn't know what they were learning.
That is the shift this program trains: from watching your teaching to watching their learning. Once you can see what a child is building, you can work with it anywhere: a kitchen table, a backyard, a studio, a paddock.
This is what the program prepares you for.
Foundations for Life is a 12-month program with a 10-day in-person intensive as the centrepiece. It is for parents, educators, and people who want to bring the 7 Seeds structure into their community, as a Wisdom Hive facilitator, or simply as a more equipped parent.
You will leave with:
- A deep, practical understanding of the 7 Seeds framework
- The skills to observe and guide children's development
- A clear pathway to establish your own Wisdom Hive, if you choose to
- A community of people doing the same work
You don't need to be a teacher.
You need to be someone who:
- Sees that the current system isn't working for many children
- Wants to do something about it, practically, in their own family or community
- Is willing to invest 10 days in going deeper before you go wide
Parents attend alongside educators. Some bring their children. All leave as facilitators.
In every workshop I run there's someone who says nothing all week. When I finally ask them to share whatever is in their head, they say something that stops the whole room. They walked in believing they had nothing to offer. If that's the voice in your head right now, I've met it many times before, and it has been wrong every time.
